Abstract

Gypsum is an important building materials, because of the availability of its raw materials. In this research study, the effect of using different waste materials (rubber waste and glass waste) on the properties of gypsum are tested. Gypsum replaced by four different percentages of rubber waste and glass wastes are 10, 20, 30 and 40% by weight of gypsum. This research contains mechanical properties (compressive strength and flexural strength). The outcomes show that the mechanical properties decrease rate when added two flavors together (waste tire rubber + waste glass).
