Abstract

Cold Mix Technology (CMT) is the most emerging technique now a day as a replacement of conventional mixed technology. It supports to green technology through reduction in pollution in terms of less carbon emission. Currently this Cold Mix Technology is widely used in selected stretches of roads, which are made under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) scheme in India. In this paper a comprehensive study of selected roads is provided which is constructed by using Cold Mix Technology. The site chosen for study is situated in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. Distresses of roads and roughness were calculated through MERLIN instrument. Also Weighted Rating Value (WRV) and International Roughness Index (IRI) values are compared to check the condition of roads.
